Angelo

its not a bad thing the queen of wands is associated with the best tarot podcast on the earth

Jeff

I have to agree with Angelo. I find it regrettable that this reviewer has some issue with Tarot Connection Podcast, and it's owner/creator. In my opinion this is not the appropriate place to air those issues. I feel that it is a jarring distraction from the review of this new deck.

Janet

Hello Jeff,

I'm sorry, but you completely misread my point.

I don't know Leisa except for making some purchases from her and being in a wonderful Tarot class with her (one with Robert Place).

My objection had nothing to do with her or her podcast.

Rather, it was an objection to any prominent Tarot card image (in this case, the face from the Queen of Wands) from a deck being connected with any person other than the deck creator, especially in terms of how long it's been on the web, and how ubiquituous the particular image has been.

Take any web presence--person, product or company-- and have a deck creator allow this entity to use a prominent face from his/her Tarot deck. For some people, or perhaps many, this particular figure/face might lose its relevance and objectivity BECAUSE of the association.

That was my point.

Hope this clarifies,

Janet
