George feels "stuck" at his job, bored with his marriage and saddened that he didn't make more of himself in life. He was offered a job as an apprentice carpenter out of high school, which he wanted to take, but his Dad pressured him to work at the family business selling auto parts.
George caved in, and he's been at the business for 20 years. Yet, he longs to go into business for himself and experience new things...instead of dreading each day from the time the alarm clock buzzes.
You decide to do a nine card reading with the top line representing his inner life, the middle line representing his outer life and the bottom representing advice, direction or things to consider.
After shuffling, you draw:
(Internal) The Moon - 3 of Cups - 2 of Cups
(External) The Hierophant - Knight of Swords - 4 of Coins
(Advice) Queen of Wands - 8 of Swords - 9 of Wands
What would you suggest to George based on these cards?
As always, any notes on your interpretive techniques--why you say whatever you say--will be welcomed!

The 1st thing that jump at me is that the inner life cards are all water cards and then the outer life cards have no water card at all, I feel this lack of balance and probably conflict between inner and outer life is not healthy, so much dreams and daydreams that were (are) not evident in the "real life"
His inner life shows very nice cards the 2 and 3 are great but also the Moon in present in this row the combination makes me think that George lies to himself believing he is happy with his life status but he is not.
His outer life seem pretty busy, alway on the move, running errands and managing, so much work and no play or time to do something he finds fulllfilling.
As for Advice, I see that George can "break free" and give himself time to do other things besides his current duties, but he must be aware the energy demand is going to be huge (9 Wands) but not difficult because he already has reached a nice level of energy/time management as shown by the Queen.

The first line seems to say that George is depressed about life (The Moon)but he has lots of plans and great ideas (Three of Cups). He may need some balance between those great plans and real life(Two of Cups).
The second line talks about George running back and forth (Knight of Swords)trying to satisfy what other people want (Hierophant) and the need for Money(Four of Pentacles). Those two card are literally boxing him in.
The third line is saying that only George can can get himself out of the stuck position he is in(Eight of Swords) and take that step forward to do what he really wants. It will be hard and may take a while.(Nine of Wands) But he has got the passion and toughness to get where he wants to go. (Queen of Wands)

George's inner life is a little illusioned. But he sees a path that can take him to where he wants to be. I take the two cups cards in this line as his family relationships and they are good. meaning the family business his brothers and sisters and his wife. I also get the feeling that they would support him leaving the business for something he wants.
Line 2, he knows he is the brains behind the business. He is the one who saves the day and creates the structure to keep things going ie: makes good decisions and watches the money for the family.
Advice: The queen is saying go for it, groom one of the brothers or sisters to take over or even his wife, the 8 of swords is saying stop thinking he can't do it, kick down the bad thoughts and just do it. He has support of the family in line one, however, the 9 of wands may indicate at times he may have to defend what he is doing.
Comments either good or bad of my interpretation are welcome.
