Columbus Day is the holiday marking the arrival of Christopher Columbus' journey to the Americans in 1492. For many American's it means a three day weekend and a chance to catch up on work around the house or do something fun.
So, what can a Tarotist all caught up with the house work do on the long Columbus Day weekend?
Enjoy the Tarocco di Colombo (Tarot of Columbus), of course.
Created by Amerigo Folchi and published in 1991 by Italcards, it's a 78 card deck focusing on Christopher Columbus and the New World.
But, it's can also lead to a good excuse to focus on the decks creator, Amerigo Flolchi to look at some of the other equally intriguing decks he has created.
Like, Tarocco Storico della Citta Di Ferrara and the Tarocco Storico del Palio di Pistoia.
And, don't forget the really mainstream decks he has published such as, The Master Tarot and the Millennium Tarot.
I found 15 decks total created by this artist on Tarot Garden.
They are all nice, with the exception of the Tarocco dei Giardini di Priapo...it's just not my taste, but I found the Tarocco del Carnevale di Venezia to be my most favorite of this group with it's festive carnival theme.
Happy Columbus Day from The Tarot Channel!!!

Sorry, gotta work...
