Something a Little Different - The Rainring Cards

Rainring06194 The Rainring is a 94 card deck which seems to fall somewhere between the catagory of tarot and oracle deck.

It's complex, but unusually interesting and the website is very interactive. 

The artwork is very defined and expressive.  I like the Legacy  and Bittersweet cards, just to name a few.

I really enjoyed the Play part of the website, but I wasn't sure how to take the warning label explaining the excessive use of these cards can be dangerous!

The creator of The Rainring, Peter Ryley (aka 94stranger), also has a ongoing blogspot where he explore the Rainring from the Tarot perspective and other interesting tidbits.

The decks been published since 1996, but seems to have a bit of renewed interest generated with a new companion book.   See a more detailed review on Aeclectic Tarot.
