The Tarot inspires people in many different ways. It challenges us to be creative, intuitive and expressive.
The great thing about being a Tarot enthusiast in this day and time is anyone can express and share their muse and inspirations through the Internet. A creative spirit no longer has to be a published author, artist or poet to get a bit of well deserved recognition.
Consider this poem written by Helen Howell (aka Bella), a massage therapist from Australia.
Helen expresses her desire to understand the astrological connections through the Tarot. "...So the stars were gone, alas, alack and in their place a TAROT PACK!" :) I like that line.
Astrologically Confused
It was a bright and moonlit night
I looked aloft and had a fright!
The stars were hidden from my gaze
was this an astrological phase?
The correspondences were so strange
it caused the stars to completely change.
So the stars were gone, alas, alack
and in their place a TAROT PACK!
How I wish I could read the signs,
what card, which planet will align?
From where it rules, what degree?
I really need a cup-o-tea!
And so indoors I slowly wander,
was this a joke of the Gods - asunder?
Did the stars really slip from sight
on this bright and moonlit night?
Or was it just a trick of the eyes,
that gave me such a great surprise.
To see my tarot hanging there,
WELL that was really quite a scare!!
